People often think they can get packs with heavy dieting, but it would no give them any result and end up in affecting the general well being of the body.

Next thing is pack can never be achieved through spot reduction which is working out for the abdomen muscles alone to reduce the fat in that area.

The plan should start with a Fast weight loss program, which should be aimed at reducing the excess fat and water content in the body while retaining the muscles alone which is the quality weight mass of the body.

Once excess fat content in the body is reduced we can go ahead with our objective of getting a six pack abs.

Next workout is abdomen exercise. You can do abdomen crunches, with different variations I them like half crunch full crunch etc.

while doing abdomen exercises ensure that you do not focus on upper and lower abdomen on the same day as doing this may over strain the spine and back muscles and you may end up getting abdomen pain.

Leg raise would be the next work out that should be undertaken. This works in the same way as  stomach crunch but focuses more on lower half. You may move around your legs in circles to add on a little variation to the exercise.

Get your body structure right

Six pack abs look the best with a good body structure i.e., V-shape. To develop this shape, you need to work for it exclusively. Side crunches can be the best exercise for this. Lie on the side and bend your legs. Raise torso gradually with hands and rest them lightly over your head. Now, tense your abdomen and hold onto it for two counts.

Muscle group near your lower ribs  needs to be exercised now. Bench-press on things as you spread apart your shoulder. You may combine this with sit-ups as you hold light-weights over your chest as we do in the position of stomach crunch. Start crunching and do push-ups simultaneously with your extended arms.

It is advised  not to practice abdomen exercises everyday as the body would require some time to relax between the exercise days. Alternating different type of exercises or taking day break would provide optimum results. Further, to keep your abdominal muscles warm, try doing sit-ups once you are over with cardiovascular exercises. Hence, a combination of all these would give you a perfect six pack abs program that would yield you the desired result like magic.
